Senior Java Developer

Role Overview

Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and backend services for software products, ensuring quality, security, and excellent customer experience.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and evolve backend services (REST APIs) with a focus on availability, performance, and security. Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions.

Requirements

• Solid experience in backend with Java (preferably 17+), OOP, and SOLID principles.
• Spring Boot and hexagonal architecture; knowledge of event-driven (e.g., SNS/SQS, domain events).
• RESTful APIs and OpenAPI documentation (Swagger).
• Maven (or Gradle) for build and dependency management.
• AWS: practical use of SNS, SQS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, ECR, and DocumentDB/MongoDB.
• Docker/docker-compose and basic Kubernetes concepts (manifests, deployments, services, troubleshooting with kubectl).
• Observability: logs, metrics, and tracing (concepts).
• Relational and non-relational databases; query modeling and domain.
• CI/CD and agile methodologies (branching, pipelines, PRs, feature flags).
• Application security: OWASP (ASVS/Top 10), JWT/JWS, mTLS, best practices for secrets.
• Experience in critical and high-availability environments.
• Identity & Security: experience with Identity & Access Management (Keycloak or equivalent) and implementation of OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect in production.
