Join sensmore and play a pivotal role in transforming the automation landscape in heavy industries. As a State Estimation Engineer, you will design and implement robust, fail-safe state estimation systems for autonomous heavy machinery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with state estimation algorithms such as Kalman Filters (e.g. EKF), optimization based methods (e.g. with GTSAM, Ceres, g2o) or particle filters.
- Familiarity with typical LiDAR odometry algorithms and libraries.
- Experience estimating vehicle motion states (e.g. velocity, position, angular rates) by fusing multiple real robotic sensors, and understanding their limitations in the field.
- Experience with Calibration of sensors used for State Estimation.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python for robotics software development.
- Familiarity with ROS / ROS2 or similar robotic middleware.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills, with the ability to reason about system-level failures.
Benefits
- Attractive compensation package and stock options.
- Beverages on-site and regular social events.
- Engage with top-tier researchers, engineers, and thought leaders.
- Influence the future of robotic technologies and tackle significant technological challenges.
- Assistance with relocation to Berlin.
