Senior Specialty Infrastructure Engineer

Sentara is hiring a Senior Specialty Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid role at Sentara Independence. The role involves updating hardware, detecting system issues, and ensuring smooth data flow throughout the organization. The engineer will manage security, network uptime, and infrastructure engineering projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Required)
• or 7+ years of relevant experience without a Bachelor’s degree (Required)
• CCNP Certification (Preferred)
• Solid Cisco Catalyst route/switch experience
• Knowledge of BGP routing
• Cisco/Fortinet Firewall experience
• Cisco Wireless and Juniper Mist Wireless experience
• Juniper Routing and switching configuration experience
