We are seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Guidewire software development and a strong understanding of agile software development lifecycle methodologies. The role requires advanced knowledge of Guidewire Cloud platform architecture and components, as well as proficiency in software languages such as Java, GOSU, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Requirements
- Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study
- A Guidewire Developer Associate certification
- Working towards or completion of an Ace Certification
- 3 – 5 years of directly related experience in Guidewire software development
- Advanced knowledge of agile software development lifecycle methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of Guidewire Cloud platform architecture and components
- Advanced knowledge of and skill to work with software languages (e.g., Java, GOSU, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Guidewire frameworks/tools (e.g., Guidewire Studio, Git, SOAP/REST APIs, Guidewire Page Configuration Files, Integration Frameworks)
- Proficient knowledge of DevOps methodologies and principles
- Proficient skill in security protocols and practices to protect applications
- Advanced ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced analytical abilities to break down complex technical challenges into manageable components
- Advanced ability to inform and influence decisions regarding frameworks, tools and databases
- Advanced ability to adapt insurance business processes to be built in the Guidewire platform
