RN, OR

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) department will perform a variety of tasks to provide patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and post-operative recovery care. The RN will work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care
• Demonstrates personal accountability in the delivery of patient care
• Provides intravenous interventions and administers medications
• Performs emergency treatment and triages emergency situations
• Communicates effectively with healthcare team members and patients
• Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities
• Performs operating room specific tasks and prepares the operating room environment
• Completes post-anesthesia Phase 1 recovery care and performs thorough assessments
