Director Internal Audit (w/m/d)

We are looking for a Director Internal Audit to shape the governance and audit landscape of an international innovation company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit, risk management, and governance, with at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a leading role.

Requirements

• Completed business administration, finance, or comparable degree
• More than ten years of professional experience
• At least five years in a leading role in the field of internal audit, risk management, finance, or governance
• In-depth understanding of governance structures, risk management, and internal control systems
• Strategic and analytical thinking with high decision-making authority
• Excellent communication skills and a sovereign appearance on all management levels
• High integrity, discretion, and a high degree of trustworthiness
• Willingness to travel regularly on business
