Small Construction Project Coordinator

Role Overview

Join the IDIQ & Construction Services Directorate to support the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering Contract (CMOE) located at NASA Langley Research Center. The Small Construction Project Coordinator reports directly to the Program Manager.

What You Will Do

Coordinate construction projects from initial request phase to completion and close out phase, including planning and estimating, coordinating subcontractors, awarding contracts, minor construction management, on site verification, tracking of schedule and costs, and constant communication with the customer.

Must have the ability to read engineered drawings and specifications, create independent construction estimates, and be proficient in MS Office and project management principles.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• 2 years of college with courses in engineering or associated disciplines
• 6 years of related experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction trades with an emphasis on Mechanical/HVAC
• Ability to use computing technology for problem analysis and solution
• Effective communication skills
• Valid Real ID compliant identification
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
