Procurement Category Manager

Join Silgan's Procurement Team at our new Innovation Center in Brookfield, WI as a Procurement Category Manager to manage strategic sourcing initiatives for over $50 million in spend, developing sourcing strategies to enhance efficiency, drive cost savings, and improve supplier performance across multiple sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in procurement, category management, supply chain, or strategic sourcing, preferably in manufacturing
• Background in the manufacturing sector with multiple sites or global operations preferred
• Proven success negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier performance
• Skilled in total cost of ownership modeling and using data to guide outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel pivot tables and PowerPoint
• CPM or CPSM certification preferred
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
