Molding Process Technician

Role Overview

The Molding Operator Technician III position is an important role on the Silgan Dispensing team. The technician keeps equipment operational by setting up, optimizing production runs, and performing quality checks. They work with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements and provide molded components in a timely manner to meet production schedules.

What You Will Do

Responsible for operating molding machines, performing quality checks, measuring and testing molded part units, documenting mold change and machine adjustments, installing and removing molds, maintaining mold and equipment, working with production personnel, and generating documentation on mold runs.

Qualified candidates must have basic shop math/computer skills, basic machine troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and be proactive. Preferred candidates will have the ability to work independently, analyze and interpret data, prioritize work, and have good oral and written communication skills.
