Job Description
We are seeking a Social Work / Counseling Intern to join our team at Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital in New Lenox, IL. The intern will work with geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients, completing clinical assessments, treatment plans, and skills-based groups under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
Requirements
- Enrolled in 2nd year MSW or accredited counseling/psychology program at an approved school
- Must be in an LPC or LSW eligible program
- Must be able to attend 2 week Monday through Friday on site orientation and training prior to starting their internship
- Must also be able to pass a competency exam and evaluation
