Aggregate QC Technician

Role Overview

As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for sampling and routine testing of aggregate materials. You will work with inspectors, plant managers, and drivers to ensure quality control of products. What You Will Do

Perform initial and ongoing testing of aggregates, document and report information, troubleshoot problems, and maintain testing equipment. You will also inspect stockpiles, materials sources, and truckloads, and communicate test results to management.

Requirements

• Industry experience preferred but not required
• Some college or further education preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work overtime hours
• Ability to work Saturdays
• ACI Level 1 certification preferred or willingness to undergo paid training and testing
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds on occasion
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to hear sounds and recognize the difference between them
• Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
• Ability to see differences between colors, shades, and brightness
