Data Engineer (T&E)

SimIS Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to provide technical and analytical support to the Operational Test and Evaluation Force (T&E) for the definition, conduct, and analysis of structured Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of US Navy Undersea Warfare systems.

Requirements

• BS degree in Data Science, Computer/Information Science, Information Systems Management, Digitization Management, Management of Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• 4 years of experience in data analysis functions such as data mining, data cleaning, data integration, data reduction/manipulation, data transformation, data visualization, and data analysis of small to large data sets.
• Demonstrated proficiency in programming or statistical software suite such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS, STATA, Tableau, and/or PowerBI.
• Design, implementation, and operation of data management systems to support management of applicable test data.
• Development of data collection plans to include methods, and storage of raw and processed test data.
• Verification and validation of data collection and accreditation plans in support of test planning.
• Coordination of the equipment necessary to implement data collection during testing.
