Test and Evaluation Engineer (T&E)

SimIS is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to provide technical and analytical support to Operational Test and Evaluation Force (T&E) in the definition, conduct, and analysis of structured Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of US Navy Undersea Warfare systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or data science.
• 8+ Years of US Navy Undersea Warfare (USW) mission execution experience in USW roles such as navigation, sonar, and fire control.
• 4+ years of system-level experience operating/maintaining/testing of USW systems.
• 2 years (within the last 4 years) of experience in Integrated Evaluation Framework (IEF) development, Test Plan Development, Test Execution, Test Analysis and Reporting, and Modeling and Simulation supporting developmental or operational testing.
• Current working knowledge of the Navy and multi-service missions, operations, logistics, management, and organizational responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of the DoD 5000 series, SECNAVINST 5000 series, and OPNAVINST 5000.42 series instructions (Defense Acquisition).
