Job Description
Life Skills Coach position at Veteran's Rising Star to provide high-quality home and community services to Veterans with neurological disorders, physical disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries. Coaches will provide training, support, and documentation to effectively manage client care and promote overall well-being. The role involves teamwork with Case Managers and family members in a dynamic social, recreational, wellness, educational, and individualized training environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Experience with physical and cognitive impairments/disabilities
- Experience with Traumatic Brain Injury
- Experience with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Veteran/Military Experience
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and agency-required auto liability insurance (100k/300k Bodily Injury)
- Valid CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only)
