Staff Machine Learning Engineer, ML Infrastructure

SimpliSafe is a high-tech home security company seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join its Cloud ML team, responsible for building and operating ML systems at scale. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software/ML engineering experience, deep expertise in cloud ML infrastructure, and a track record of designing and operating high-throughput, low-latency inference systems. Requirements

• 8+ years of software/ML engineering experience
• Deep expertise in cloud ML infrastructure on Kubernetes
• Hands-on production experience with Ray, KServe, Triton, vLLM, Kubeflow, or similar
• Strong production experience on AWS (EKS, S3, IAM, networking) and with Kafka, containerized deployments, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating high-throughput, low-latency inference systems
• Solid grounding in ML fundamentals: how models are trained, evaluated, versioned, deployed, monitored, and rolled back in production
