Senior Software Engineer (MCP)

Singtel is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for new initiatives, shaping solution architecture, guiding delivery standards, and managing vendor and offshore engineering teams. The role involves designing and governing enterprise-grade AI platforms and automation capabilities, ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• At least 8-12 years of experience as software developer
• 2-4 years AI/ML development experience
• Experience leading complex system design and architecture
• Experience managing vendors or offshore teams
• Experience designing and integrating AI/ML solutions into production systems
• Strong understanding of RAG architectures, data pipelines, retrieval systems, and inference orchestration
• Expert-level proficiency in Python/Node.js/Go/Java
• Strong system design, API architecture, and distributed systems expertise
• Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
• Proficiency with container platforms and deployment pipelines
• Operational readiness and observability experience
• Strong understanding of secure coding, API security, identity/access management, and data governance
