Equipment Engineer 2

Skyworks is seeking an Equipment Engineer 2 to ensure the maximum availability, reliability, and performance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment through preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance strategies.

Requirements

• Determine the root cause of failures through technical analysis (root cause analysis - RCA) and apply permanent corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as: Uptime / Availability/Downtime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
• Collaborate with process engineering to improve equipment performance (OEE - Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• Implement continuous improvements
• Manage critical spare parts and technical inventory control
• Validate equipment changes (hardware/software) according to quality standards
• Support internal and external audits (ISO, IATF, customer audits)
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards
• Generate technical documentation: procedures, failure reports, work instructions
