Job Description
The Manager Trade Compliance position is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining trade compliance policies and procedures in cooperation with US teams. This role involves managing trade compliance projects, providing subject matter expertise, and ensuring company-wide compliance with trade laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Manage assigned projects within scope, cost, and schedule using available project management tools and systems
- Design, implement, and maintain a global customs program, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure company-wide compliance
- Develop and maintain current expertise in trade compliance laws and regulations
- Review corporate processes to ensure they are following trade laws and regulations
- Conduct trade compliance training and support development of new training materials and programs
- Participate in audits and factual investigations concerning export/import compliance matters
