Manufacturing Quality Engineer II

Role Overview

Develops and implements optimal quality manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

What You Will Do

Drive quality management systems, assist in process qualification, conduct print reviews, develop supplier inspection criteria, and facilitate root cause and corrective action activity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, quality, or materials engineering
• Three to five years of prior related Manufacturing and Quality Assurance experience
• Expertise with Statistical Process Control
• Six Sigma experience is highly desirable
• Extensive knowledge of metrology
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and statistical software
• Good Communication skills
• Specific experience in drawing interpretation and standards (GD & T)
• Knowledge of metallurgy a plus
