
Job description
The Plater is responsible for mixing and maintaining solutions, regulating current input and plating time, and performing plating and related tasks to work pieces processed in the plating area. This role requires a good command of the English language and basic computer skills. The Plater will work in a manufacturing environment and be exposed to various hazards.
The Plater will mix and load chemical solutions, load and unload parts from plating and treatment equipment, and dismantle and reassemble parts to aid in treatments. They will also monitor and verify quality, clean and maintain equipment, and follow safety and EH&S requirements.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior plating experience in a manufacturing environment and a high school diploma or equivalent. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions, and take initiative to improve processes.
