Electrical Engineer

Design and coordinate electrical systems for traffic signal and lighting projects, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality design packages and technical advice to support roadway safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Registered as Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Ontario (or eligible within a reasonable timeframe)
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in traffic signal and roadway illumination design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and design tools such as AGi32 or Autolux for lighting analysis
• Familiarity with ESA requirements, utility coordination (e.g., Alectra, Toronto Hydro), and permitting processes
