Requirements
- Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Dry utility design and engineering
- Member of IET & working towards Chartered Engineer accreditation
- Ability to produce design documentation – Design Basis Report, Case Studies and Project Design Specification
- Experience of working ME projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to maintaining existing and developing new client relationships
- Street lighting calculation, Street lighting network design, street lighting feeder pillar location identification and preparation LV cable schedule
- Telecom(Fixed and GSM) Network design and cable routing with identification of Junction box, telecom exchange room and meet me room location
- Design report for Power, Street lighting and Telecom network
- Specification of Power, Telecom and street lighting
- Clash detection and co-ordination with other Utilities
- Experience in preparation of Basis of design, design report for the projects
- Knowledge of Relevant Electrical Codes and Standards
- Ability to perform engineering calculations, voltage drop and cable sizing
- Standard drawing for dry utilities network
- Experience in Utility Corridor design
- Project Management, Resource Management, Design Co-ordination experience
- Client and Authority co-ordination experience
- Strong English Communication Skills
- Flexibility to travel to client sites when required
- Capability to work under tight deadlines while achieving objectives with the ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately
