Senior Software Engineer - Production Control Plane

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Production Control Plane team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake's infrastructure and services, as well as experience in cloud computing and platform engineering.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or platform engineering
• Ownership mindset, self-direction, and a passion for solving complex problems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Go, Java, Python, or C++
• Daily operational experience with AI-driven software development
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Expertise in CI/CD systems (Github Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Strong distributed-systems troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
• BONUS: Proficiency with Kubernetes, especially on the platform side
