Job description
The BESS Engineer I is responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of BESS projects. This role provides technical oversight to ensure successful delivery of BESS solutions that meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements. The role is fully remote.
Review designs and engineering of utility scale battery energy storage systems, coordinate with engineers and vendors, provide technical oversight during procurement, and collaborate with internal teams to design, procure, install, and commission BESS systems.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of power systems, BESS equipment, and relevant industry standards, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
