Automation Engineer

The Automation Engineer will provide technical support to various areas, configure and program controllers, develop hardware and circuit diagrams, and manage projects. They will also lead automation activities, develop HMI's, and assist with training and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with Siemens, Simatic Manager, and TIA Portal software
• Knowledge of drive technology and servo drives
• Experience with bus systems and bus technology
• Project management and coordination skills
• Experience with AutoCad/Cad systems
• Ability to write programs for new machines and conveyor systems
• Debugging and testing of PLC and robotic programs
• Comprehensive machine and system testing
• Knowledge of safety, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction
• Ability to identify areas for engineering improvements
