Job Description
The Financial Counselor provides assistance to patients with Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE) and Charity Care applications, and works through patient's financial obligations to facilitate timely receipt of patient liabilities for hospital services.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Some college preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of collection experience in a healthcare setting
- Fluent in both in Spanish and English
- Current certification in Hospital Presumptive Eligibility
