Lead Systems Engineer

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to lead the design, operation, and evolution of our production infrastructure and data center platforms. The role provides technical direction for the Systems Administration team and serves as the senior engineering authority for Linux systems, enterprise server hardware, virtualization, storage, and high-availability infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong Linux and Windows administration and engineering experience in enterprise or production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware, including troubleshooting, lifecycle planning, and firmware management.
• Strong experience with enterprise storage and distributed storage systems; Ceph experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead and mentor Systems Administrators.
• 5+ years of relevant enterprise IT experience in a senior or lead infrastructure role.
