Intern, Vulnerability Management

Sony Corporation of America is seeking an Intern, Vulnerability Management to assist the global Vulnerability Management team under the Corporate Information Security Department (CISD) located in Reston, VA for the 2026 summer internship program. This incumbent will help in creating and testing global configuration standards for the various components of the Vulnerability Management tool suite. This is a position for those interested in pursuing a career in information security while getting hands on experience in the operation and configuration of industry standard security tools.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelors or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and quickly apply new concepts to accomplish assignments
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Passionate about coding and automation
• Previous experience through work or internship preferred
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA
