Senior Electronics Engineer

Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead electronics within interdisciplinary projects from first studies until integration on the satellite. The role involves technical leadership, specification, analysis, and test of electronic units for satellite and space applications.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities include technical leadership, specification, analysis, and test of electronic units, planning and supervising of high-reliability EEE-parts procurement, and participation in internal process improvement.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a degree in electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent, and experience in digital and analogue circuit design, electronics design tools, and microcontrollers. A pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility, and good organizational and communication skills are also required.

Requirements

• Degree in electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of digital and analogue circuit design
• Experience in typical electronics design tools (schematic entry, simulation, analysis)
• Experience in microcontrollers is an advantage
• Experience in space-related design-flows is an advantage
• Pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility
• Team player with good organizational and communication skills
• Fluent in English – good knowledge of German would be a definite advantage
