At SpaceX, we are looking for an Accountant to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the company's general ledger for the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, tax, finance, or business discipline and 2+ years of combined accounting or audit experience.
Requirements
- Perform daily general ledger accounting, including bank reconciliations and journal entry preparation, posting, and review
- Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for EMEA entities
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items on time
- Support the preparation of financial statements and flux analysis
- Assist with external audits
- Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and desktop procedures
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiencies
- Work with outsourced service providers for assigned countries
- Support day-to-day finance operations in EMEA as required, and ad hoc finance projects as directed
- Collaborate and partner with cross functional teams and other stakeholders
