The Weather Forecaster provides 24/7/365 operational meteorological support for Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) missions, requiring certified forecasters with a minimum of two years of relevant Department of Defense experience, capable of working rotating shifts in high-tempo, mission-critical environments.
Requirements
- Certified DoD Weather Forecaster (e.g., 1W0X1, or equivalent FAA/NWS/NOAA certification)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and meteorological data systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of military meteorology, risk assessment, and operational mission planning
- Capable of working rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment under high operational stress
