Lead AI Engineer

Role Overview

Lead development of TRAM, a proprietary AI reasoning model that reads and interprets global trade law. Build data pipelines, model stack, evaluation frameworks, and fine-tuning loops to improve performance. Work at millisecond latency, zero downtime, with tens of millions of transactions today and billions ahead.

What You Will Do

Lead development of new features to increase TRAM's test-time accuracy, work on data and retrieval pipelines, and work with internal tax experts to improve TRAM's reasoning. Own TRAM's eval framework and workflows, and work with leading frontier labs to fine-tune models.

Requirements

• Prior experience building AI-enabled products, particularly RAG systems
• Experience fine-tuning base models, ideally via RFT
• Willingness to dive into tax technical problems
• Strong understanding of how LLMs and reasoning models function
