Assemble, adjust, and install prefabricated parts to manufacture air handling systems. Perform various adjustments, settings, and fine-tuning operations necessary for assembly. Interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, bills of material, and engineering revisions accurately.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn mechanical assembly processes
- Ability to follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and verbal direction accurately
- Ability to perform basic assembly, fastening, sealing, and fit-up activities
- Ability to identify and communicate basic assembly issues or material concerns appropriately
- Ability to safely utilize hand tools, pneumatic tools, measuring devices, and standard assembly equipment
- Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, man lifts, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to develop blueprint reading and assembly interpretation skills
- Ability to learn modular assembly processes and air handling system configurations
- Ability to maintain quality and attention to detail while meeting developing productivity expectations
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Ability to adapt to changing production schedules and work assignments
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
