Job Description
The Squarespace Domains & Applications group is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Domains Registrar team. The team is currently focused on architecting new products and expanding the feature set for one of the largest domain registrars in the world.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing production-level systems using Java, Kotlin, or similar Object-Oriented languages
- 2+ years of experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, CockroachDB) and a deep understanding of data structures and software design patterns
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- Ability to write "beautiful", readable code and proactive approach to technical documentation
- Strong sense of ownership and curiosity about "the why" behind the features you build
