Drill and Shovel Mechanic

Role Overview

The Drill and Shovel Mechanic repairs and maintains loading and drilling equipment through planned maintenance, monitors equipment, and communicates equipment needs and issues. Works a rotating 5-4 schedule.

What You Will Do

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, read and disseminate information from schematics and maintenance manuals, and implement continuous improvement of maintenance strategy.

Must be able to communicate effectively, work in a team-oriented environment, and support a 24/7 operation in strenuous physical conditions. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are required.

Requirements
