
Job description
The Float Member Service Associate II provides exceptional service to members by building relationships, conducting needs-based conversations, originating and closing consumer loans, and opening and maintaining deposit account relationships. This role is primarily sales-focused and requires strong banking and lending experience. As a float, this role provides coverage across multiple branches, adapts quickly to different branch teams and workflows, and supports consistent St. Mary’s Bank member experience standards.
Provide coverage for staffing shortages, greet and assist members, conduct needs-based conversations, open and service deposit accounts, originate and close consumer loans, maintain and deepen member relationships, and perform account maintenance and servicing.
This role requires strong communication, member focus, sales and lending skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, teamwork, technical proficiency, and adaptability. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum two years of banking experience, and a proven record of accuracy and compliance in loan origination and closing.
