Systems Administrator I

Role Overview

The Systems Administrator I is responsible for maintaining and supporting the credit union's IT infrastructure, including server management, network administration, and ensuring the overall health and performance of IT systems.

What You Will Do

Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and provide technical support to end-users.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting Windows-based systems and Microsoft technologies in a professional or enterprise environment
• Experience working with server operating systems, basic networking, and end-user computing environments
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and general infrastructure concepts
• Basic experience or exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, or Intune environments
• Working knowledge of user account management, permissions, and access controls
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, network, and system issues
• Basic understanding of system security principles, including patching and secure configuration practices
