
Job description
The Security Specialist II is a journeyman level position responsible for controlling site access, issuing badges and ID cards, and ensuring all personnel follow site security and safety protocols. The role involves working with various computer systems, assisting customers, and performing administrative tasks.
Create, issue, and collect Intelligence Badges, Common Access Cards, Keys, Hangtags, Visits, Mobility Scooters, and Passport Photos. Verify clearances and authorize personnel via the C-CURE/SMS computer system. Provide access control to ensure only properly credentialed personnel enter the facility.
Must be able to work with people internally and externally at all levels of an organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to become familiar with corporate specific programs and software. Excellent oral/verbal communication skills and detail-oriented.
