Job description
Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Systems Engineer within our AFLCMC/HBG group at Hanscom AFB, MA. The C2ISR Division is responsible for a diverse portfolio that provides 'cradle-to grave' support for the U-2 aircraft, E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft, Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS), the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) system and other C2ISR programs as they transition to sustainment.
As a Junior Systems Engineer, your duties include providing systems engineering assistance, conducting reviews on program portfolio, performing program reviews, preparing technical documents, performing validation of systems, providing system/program engineering, technical support and technical training, and providing engineering support in the design, operation, and sustainment of systems and components.
This role requires a strong understanding of system engineering principles, experience in requirements development, production and deployment, and operation and support, architectures development & implementation, modeling & simulation, verification & validation, technical data package development and sustainment, and principles of configuration management.
