Junior Systems Engineer

Role Overview

Torch Technologies is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and analysis of all-digital tactical missile systems on Redstone Arsenal. The team provides research, development, and engineering services to the Federal Government and Department of War.

What You Will Do

Integrate vendor-supplied models and simulations into a common simulation framework and scene generation environment. Develop new models based on physics and math principles. Perform detailed analysis of models and integrated system performance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in software development, system design and integration, and/or data analysis, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development, system design and integration, and/or data analysis
• Active Secret security clearance
• Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as an individual
