Systems Engineer, Senior

Role Overview

As a Systems Engineer, Senior, you will provide superior research, development, and engineering services to the Federal Government and Department of War. You will work on the EPASS GB contract, supporting the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate. Your duties will include applying Agile system engineering to the acquisition process, identifying emerging IT acquisition strategies, and conducting reviews on program portfolios.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing system level tests, preparing technical documentation, and providing Agile and Digital system/program engineering support. You will also provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Advanced Degree (MA/MS) or Doctorate from an ABET accredited program in Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering Discipline and 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoW
• BA/BS Degree from an ABET accredited program in Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering Discipline and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoW
• 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoW
• CompTIA Security+ CE
• Must possess and maintain a Tier 3/Secret clearance
• Certifications Requirements (Possesses any or all of the following certifications)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, (or associate)
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Axure equivalent
• Current certification in Oracle/OCI products and/or databases
• CompTIA Security + CE
• Agile/Scrum Certifications
