Job Description

As a Recovery Counselor, you will provide direct care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of clients in a 24/7 voluntary residential setting.
Requirements
- Valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance
- Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) certification required
- High school diploma (or equivalent) plus one year of full-time experience in consumer-directed services
- Recovery Counselor I requires one year of experience in the mental health field
- Recovery Counselor II requires Associate degree with six years of experience in the mental health field, Bachelor’s Degree with four years of experience in the mental health field, or Master’s Degree with two years of experience in the mental health field
