The Senior Physician position works within the Department of Health in Duval County to provide medical services in the area of Disease Control in the Comprehensive Care Clinic and Mobile Medical Unit providing coverage for HIV and STI care.
Requirements
- Active and in good standing license as a Doctor of Medicine (MD)/ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- A Physician candidate is a clinician that currently holds, or is eligible for, a Florida medical license (Chapters 458 or 459, Florida Statutes).
- At least six months of providing care to patients with communicable diseases such as HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (preferred).

- Public Health Competency Domain 4: Cultural Competency skills.
