Job Description
The Mental Health Technician Trainee at the Fox Developmental Center is seeking a trainee to provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves active treatment and habilitation, residential, social, and vocational activities, light housekeeping, and assisting with physical tasks. This is a union position.
Requirements
- Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to physically restrain individuals as necessary.
- Ability to travel in the performance of job duties.
- Ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers.
- Ability to pass standard Physical Agility testing.
- Ability to pass the IDHS background check.
