Job Description
Maryland School for the Deaf (MSD) is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Faculty MSD - Teacher. The successful candidate will develop and implement a bilingual educational program for Deaf students and provide a language enriched environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Eligible to apply for or be willing to obtain certification by the Maryland State Department of Education within a prescribed amount of time
- Fluency in American Sign Language and written English required
- Knowledge of the Deaf culture, Deaf Education, students with additional disabilities and ability to teach students on different levels and with varying educational and language acquisition backgrounds is required
