Group Life Coordinator 2 Pool - Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility

Oregon Youth Authority is seeking a Group Life Coordinator 2 to work at the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility. As a GLC2, you will provide continuous interactive supervision of youth and ensure a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include coaching, confronting, and correcting youth behavior, observing and documenting behavior, and monitoring health and safety risks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience observing, evaluating, developing, and monitoring human behavior and performance
• Ability to work under the condition of frequent exposure to verbal abuse, threats, and dealing with impulsive, rebellious, assaultive youth
• Ability to work a 24-hour, 7-day a week operation, with night shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
