Business Analyst – Alpha Data Platform, Charles River Development, AVP

We are seeking a Business Analyst to manage development and support of product offerings for State Street's Alpha Data Platform team. The successful candidate must possess strong business and data analysis skills, as well as expertise in functional requirements gathering and documentation.

Requirements

• Advanced writing skills, including the ability to abstract/summarize highly detailed information
• Ability to translate customer business needs into application requirements
• Strong experience with technologies that relate to product implementation and client interaction
• Experience as a Business Analyst on medium to large scale projects
• Expertise in data management and governance, including data lineage, data quality management etc.
• Expertise in data pipeline and database technologies, including ETL/ELT Tools, SQL Server, Snowflake etc.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of SDLC & Agile Methodology and tools (i.e. JIRA, Kibana dashboard)
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, Project, and Visio is required
