Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for daily machine repairs and proper corrective actions. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role involves various tasks such as building maintenance, repair or replacement of control devices, and maintenance documentation processes.

What You Will Do

Perform work order repairs, inspection, adjustments, and calibrations. Use exceptional problem-solving skills to make quick and effective decisions. Design and fabricate small repair parts. Maintain and update Down-Time Tracker and predictive and preventative maintenance schedule.

Requirements

• Post Secondary education in electrical or mechanical related courses
• Technical Trades Training / Licensed Millwright (433a) with Canadian Apprenticeship preferred
• 5+ Years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
