Operations Supervisor- 2nd Shift

Role Overview

The Operations Supervisor- 2nd Shift will take ownership of their area's performance, including safety, quality, and productivity, and hold team members accountable to standards. They will use data to identify trends and predict maintenance needs, and lead improvement events to increase productivity and minimize unsafe conditions and accidents.

What You Will Do

The Operations Supervisor- 2nd Shift will perform line setup and quality validations, lead and/or participate in 8D and 5 Why meetings, and identify productivity projects to improve uptime and throughput per man hour worked. They will also assist in the training of new operators and monitor attendance, vacation, and sick time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Lean Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma Problem Solving
• Knowledge of safety rules and requirements
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality standards
• Strong mathematics skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office
