Job description
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support transportation and shipping operations for pole and rail tie products leaving our Prince George plant. This role is responsible for coordinating outbound shipments by truck and rail, managing railcar orders and documentation, and working closely with production to ensure orders ship on time and customer commitments are met.
Coordinate outbound shipments, schedule trucks and railcars, order and release railcar movements, prepare shipping documentation, and collaborate with production teams to ensure shipments are loaded and dispatched on schedule.
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills. The Logistics Coordinator will also support storm response logistics, which may include occasional on-call availability.
